Our Time on Earth

Posted on: January 1, 2013

~ by Jai Cross

As a first responder, I witness many strange things. Today I was the first to arrive on the scene of a fatality from exposure, the first to see his frozen stare into nothingness. Later I wondered about the timing – how I had found the corpse on the last day of 2012 when I was consciously releasing old ways of being to free up energetic space for the new to emerge. I hope to be granted more time on Earth to deepen my relationships, to explore further, to appreciate more. Because I know that someday I’ll be the one who died from some kind of exposure. Perhaps the first one to see my lifeless body will be similarly inspired to live more fully while they still have the chance.
