The day’s water is positioned in the special place of honor at the center of my altar, surrounded by candles, crystals, representations of saints, and other ceremonial objects. I center myself in my heart and then connect to the passionate embrace of Earth and the visionary presence of Sky. I breathe in the power and gifts of the four elements and directions, each in its turn, fully feeling each of them in my physical form. Returning to the heart, I beam my love and gratitude into the water. I bless it, knowing that each sip of this magical liquid will later bless me. As it becomes me, I become it. The Circle is reborn yet again…”
